Join us on Wednesday, August 20 for a powerful luncheon featuring Louisiana State Representatives Julie Emerson (District 39) and Annie Spell (District 45) as they share personal reflections on their time in office and the unique experiences that have shaped their paths in public service. 

In a conversation moderated by Keely McGibboney of Louisiana Economic Development (LED), Reps. Spell and Emerson will also offer key takeaways from the most recent legislative session, providing valuable insight into the policy issues shaping Louisiana’s future. 

As Rep. Annie Spell reflects on her first year in office and Rep. Julie Emerson continues serving in her final 4-year term, this event offers a unique perspective on the experiences of women in public service at the state level.
