The Evangeline Area Council strives to improve families and our community by serving more than 3,000 youth to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law within the eight traditional parishes of Acadiana: Acadia, Evangeline, Lafayette, Iberia St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary and Vermillion.
