KourCo Environmental Services, Inc. (KES) is a certified Woman-Owned professional engineering and environmental consulting firm located in Lafayette, Louisiana.  KES specializes in all aspects of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase II ESAs, risk-based site investigations and corrective action design and implementation for the remediation of impacted soil and groundwater.  This work is conducted in accordance with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality’s (LDEQ’s) Risk Evaluation/Corrective Action Program (RECAP).  KES also provides a variety of other related services, including all aspects of Underground Storage Tank (UST) closures, permitting of stormwater and/or wastewater discharges to surface water as well as the characterization and disposal of solid and hazardous waste in accordance with all state and federal regulations. In addition, KES specializes in Section 10/404 permitting with each of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Districts in Louisiana and the Coastal Use Permit Program of the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources Coastal Management Division.
