Acadiana Women's Network: Investing in Education, Impacting Generations
Wednesday, May 28, 2025 (11:30 AM - 1:00 PM) (CDT)
Description
Join us on May 28 for an inspiring conversation at the intersection of education, leadership, and community impact. This luncheon will shine a light on the power of female leadership in transforming public education through meaningful community and family engagement.
We’re honored to welcome two dynamic leaders who are making a profound difference in Lafayette Parish – Millicent Nugent, Executive Director of Love Our Schools, a nonprofit organization committed to uniting community partners, educators, and families to improve educational outcomes and Julia Williams, Chief of High Schools for Lafayette Parish School System.
Together, they’ll share insights and examples of how strategic collaboration along with community-driven projects and volunteerism are reshaping local schools—from the inside out.
This is an opportunity to learn first-hand how to become part of the movement to uplift students, support educators, and strengthen our local schools across Lafayette Parish.
This luncheon is proudly presented by Meritus Credit Union!
Special thanks to our event partners, Something Borrowed Blooms and Ruffino's on the River!
